The Marcus Langseth Science Oversight Committee (MLSOC) invites you to attend
their first winter community meeting on Sunday, December 14, 2008. The meeting
will be held in San Francisco, CA and will take place the day before the 2008
Fall AGU meeting.
The MLSOC meeting will be of interest to all science users and future users
of the oceanographic seismic ship, R/V Marcus G. Langseth. The agenda will
include presentations by the National Oceanographic Seismic Facility operator
(LDEO), funding agency representatives, as well as Principal Investigators
who worked aboard the vessel in 2008. Facility operation summaries and schedules
will be presented. MLSOC activities, future plans, and issues will be reported.
