2014 MLSOC Early Career Workshop
Meeting Site:
San Francisco, CA
The application period for this workshop has ended.
The MLSOC is committed to increasing the involvement of students, postdoctoral/early career scientists and new users. To that end, this program was designed to: 1) expose students, early career scientists and new users to the Langseth, 2) offer participants training and mentoring in the process of developing research programs that use the Langseth, 3) enable participants to network with scientists actively involved in Langseth supported research and 4) engage these participants in the MLSOC advisory activities. These goals will be achieved through a workshop prior to the MLSOC meeting with breakout sessions on ships and technical support, data, cruise planning and grant writing and by directly involving participants in the MLSOC fall meeting.
