Please visit the UNOLS Booth #41 at the 2012 Ocean Sciences Meeting. Join us as we continue to celebrate our 40th Anniversary! Images of ships, people and science operations from the earliest days of UNOLS to today will be presented.
In addition to research vessels, learn how unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and other facilities are used in today's research of the world's oceans. UAS will be on display (like those in the images below) along with videos featuring vehicle operations. Members from UNOLS and the Scientific Committee on Oceanographic Aircraft (SCOAR) will be on hand to provide information and answer questions.
The exhibit hours are Monday, 20 February through Thursday, 23 February, 08:00 to 18:00, and Friday, 24 February 2012, 08:00 to 12:00 noon.
Videos highlighting Unmanned Aircraft Systems were displayed in the booth.The video clips are very large, please contact the UNOLS Office to request a copy.
