Deep Ocean Science Town Hall at 2020 Ocean Sciences Meeting
Drs. Samantha Joye, Anna-Louise Reysenbach and Adam Soule will host a Town Hall at the 2020 Ocean Sciences Meeting - Developing a coordinated vision for transdisciplinary deep ocean research. The Town Hall is scheduled for Monday, 17 February from 12:25 to 1:45 pm at the San Diego Convention Center, 9, UL.
The Town Hall is aimed at researchers who are interested in in contributing to development of a grassroots community vision that will promote a new phase of deep sea discovery through coordinated transdisciplinary research efforts made possible through development of a Research Coordination Network proposal. This effort will advance the field and create new directions in deep sea science, promote new collaborations, and foster coordination and training across disciplinary, organizational, geographic, and international boundaries all while broadening participation in deep ocean science.
