New Cruise Opportunities - Summer 2018

Two new cruise opportunities have been posted for graduate students interested in volunteering aboard an active research vessel. 

The R/V Sikuliaq has 2 bunks available for volunteers for an NSF-funded project on jellyfish in the Bering Sea. It will be departing from Nome, AK on June 26, 2018, and arriving back in Dutch Harbor, AK on July 3, 2018. The chief scientist for the project is Hongsheng Bi, of the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. Graduate students interested in participating in this cruise opportunity should submit applications on the UNOLS website prior to June 1, 2018.

The R/V Oceanus has 2 bunks available for volunteers for an NSF-funded project on jellyfish in the Bering Sea. It will be departing from Dutch Harbor, AK on September 2, 2018, and arriving back in Dutch Harbor, AK, on September 8, 2018. The chief scientist for the project is Hongsheng Bi, of the Chesapeake Biological Laboratory at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. Graduate students interested in participating in this cruise opportunity should submit applications on the UNOLS website prior to August 1, 2018.
